2. Major environmental problems to be addressed

It mainly supplies emergency domestic water and drinking water and ensures water safety of personnel in the plant area.

3. Environmental standards and/or main index limits to be followed

The domestic water quality shall conform to the Standards for Drinking Water Quality (GB 5749-2006) and the drinking water quality shall follow the Water Quality Standards for Fine Drinking Water (CJ 94-2005).

4. Technological process

Groundwater or surface water → lift pump → pipeline mixer → folded plate reactor → inclined plate sedimentation tank → solution tank → ultrafiltration feed water pump → disc filter → ultrafiltration device → ultrafiltration water tank → variable frequency water supply pump → user.

5. Environmental pollution control effects

For the influent, SS≤50 mg/L, turbidity≤100 NTU, TDS≤1,000 mg/L, hardness≤450 mg/L, iron ion≤0.3 mg/L; for the effluent, no SS and turbidity, TDS≤38 mg/L, hardness≤4 mg/L and no iron ion.

6. Investment and operation cost

The investment of the project was RMB 450,000 and the operation cost was RMB 0.5/t·water.

Case highlights: The project adopts an integrated equipment and membrane water supply station to handle slightly polluted water sources, saving land area and ensuring the water safety of personnel in the plant area. The equipment was listed in the China Practical Guide to Emergency Products of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2017.
